Hello and welcome to my website,

While you get acquainted with things, I hope you enjoy Chambacu Thoughts. This improvisational tune is based on Totó La Momposina’s Chambacu, a tune inspired in a small town in North Colombia with a rich African heritage. This song features the classical alto and concert flutes, as well as gaits de Jan Jacinto, cambia drums, and a rhythm section. The imagery is an invitation to visit and explore my beautiful country, Colombia!
