CHAMBACU THOUGHTS

This piece (Slow-Fast) is inspired in a small town in Northern Colombia. It features the classical alto and concert flutes, as well as Gaitas de Jan Jacinto.

LOVE IN A FAIRY LAND

I arranged this traditional, monophonic Chinese tune to include harmony, improvisation, and to feature the pipa and dizi. Playing the pipa is Mei YuXin.

PRENDE LA VELA

This is an arrangement of a traditional Pacific Afro-Colombian tune with jazz elements. In this piece I play flute, gaita de San Jacinto, and Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI).
